When I first go to college I want to be cut off from my old life. I had the choice to go far away or stay close and I chose to stay close which was a big factor in me choosing UCLA. But one thing that I’ll miss out on is REALLY feeling alone. I want to not come home or see my friends as if I really was far away, I’m gunna try and not see anyone until thanksgiving break like it would’ve been had I gone to Berkeley. Part of it is me needing to get away so i don’t kill myself from irritation, part is me leaving high school behind, and part is just me proving to myself that I can be alone.
